Due to the recent outbreak in coronavirus, The Clare Project will be temporarily suspending all face-to-face services to ensure the health and safety of our members, volunteers, and staff team.  Please note that all services including Tuesday Drop-ins, Meet & Eat, TNB Brighton/Hastings and Rainbow Hub Office Hours have been suspended. Also our training and consultancy in the coming weeks is being rescheduled. Please see info below.

We appreciate this is a particularly difficult time for our TNBI community, and are beginning to make alternative arrangements as advertised below. We have also temporarily increased the amount of counselling we are able provide, if you have a client who would appreciate an informal chat or session with a trained counsellor, via phone/skype please put them in touch with us at tcpbrighton@gmail.com. At present, this counselling is provided by Psychotherapist Ellis Johnson.
In the longer-term, we will be considering online groups/sessions via App use or Google Hangouts for those looking to socialise online. We will keep you posted on this.

The Clare Project’s Support Line Opening Times
This TNBI Support Line is open to all trans, non-binary, intersex, and/or gender-questioning/exploring adults. The line is anonymous and confidential, aimed at those based in East Sussex. You can call during opening times or text/whatsapp/leave a voicemail for a call back when we are next available. If we are on another call we will phone you back (at request) if a message is left.
Please note we will not phone you back if you do not leave a message, for safety reasons. Open as of today 17/03/2020 until further notice.

You can email tcpbrighton@gmail.com, text or whatsapp the above number any time but please be aware that response may not be immediate. We work full time although availability is limited. Please note call costs to this mobile number do apply, but you’re welcome to text/email for a call back.

Once we are past the pandemic, we will continue to have a general advice line, however this line is specifically being opened with the aim of combating social isolation and community anxieties during the virus outbreak, in addition to providing informal advice and signposting.

Please get in touch should you have any queries.
