The NHS GIC Development team have asked The Clare Project to run a Sussex GIC Community Consultation Survey on their behalf. The answers to these questions will help the NHS GIC Development team decide how best to move forward with plans for a Sussex GIC.
Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust’s statement:
“NHS England has identified the need for innovative and ambitious gender services pilots, in a bid to ensure equity of access across the country, and to help reduce the long waits experienced by individuals. Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust (SPFT) are working in a multi-agency collaboration to draw up a proposal for the provision of a Sussex based gender identify clinic pilot. The proposed service will assess and diagnose gender dysphoria in a community care setting, ensuring that individuals can access the relevant treatment interventions. The service will also provide the necessary outreach and peer support provision, so that individuals have their needs met at every stage of the pathway.
As part of this, a range of engagement and consultation activities will be undertaken. This will support the development of the initial business case, and then the further development of the service model, once final approval from NHSE is given. This survey aims to collect some initial feedback.”
As a thank you for your feedback we are doing a prize draw for £50 vouchers that can be used at any supermarket (2 available). If you would like to be entered for this prize draw, please leave your point of contact in the appropriate question.
