Sussex Transcendence is an informal meet up where trans, nonbinary, intersex, gender-variant and gender-questioning people can come along to connect with each other, chat and make friends. One meet up is at Cafe Paradiso in Chichester, and the other is in Pier Road Coffee & Art in Littlehampton.

The set-up of the hang out is informal. There will be tea, coffee and snacks, board games, and a social space with tables and chairs for people to sit and chat with one another. Our ability to provide quiet spaces is dependent on each venue’s set-up, but we are working our best to help facilitate an accessible environment.

It is currently being organised by members of The Clare Project but we aim to have this organised by local people that attend in order to maintain it is an informal hangout. You do not need to inform us before coming along, but if you are feeling nervous, please do feel free to get in touch with us and we can arrange for you to meet with one of us beforehand who will introduce you to the space and answer your questions.

We strive to be decentralised and ran by our community, so if you have ideas for meet ups, just let us know and we can organise it as a group!
