NB: Accessibility note at end of post.

Deadline for applications: 9am Mon 23rd November 2020

Interviews (online via Zoom): Friday 27th November 2020

Pay: TNBI Engagement Worker:  14hrs per week, £24,500 pro rata (£9,473 per annum). QTIBIPoC Engagement Worker: 8hrs per week, £24,500 pro rata (£5,413 per annum).

As The Clare Project embarks on their 20th year as an essential service for the trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant (TNBI) community across East Sussex, we are looking for new addition(s) to our team to support us during an exciting period of growth.

The Engagement Worker roles work alongside key partners including Hastings & Rother Rainbow Alliance’s Trans Group and QTIPoC Narratives Collective, engaging and consulting with community members on how certain aspects of health and well-being services could be developed. This is funded by the NHS Inclusion Engagement programme, and consists of desk-based research, Group Facilitation and community outreach across both Brighton & Hove and Hastings.

Please see attached PDFs for more information. We will also welcome freelance enquiries and joint-role proposals. Please also note we are recruiting a partnered role with Switchboard for an LGBT Engagement Worker for 28hrs/pw.

To receive more information, including on how to apply, please email g.hutchins@clareproject.org.uk or call 07464229395 and leave a message.

Please note we welcome applications from the trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant community, and/or QTIBIPoC community members. Further to this, we recognize that there are several intersections of these communities under-represented in our team at present, including but not limited to, Black and non-Black People of Colour, those with disabilities, migrants and/or those with experience of homelessness. As a course of positive action in order to improve community representation in our team, we actively encourage applications from these under-represented groups.
