TNB is coming to Hastings!

Aug 10, 2019

As a partnership between Hastings & Rother Rainbow Alliance (HRRA) and The Clare Project, we are delighted to announce that TNB – a supportive workshop/discussion space for the trans, non-binary and intersex (TNBI) community – is coming to Hastings!

Having been greatly received since launching Brighton earlier this year, LGBT Consortium’s Futures Fund awarded the partners £8,000 in a bid to bring this crucial space to the area as of September 2019. HRRA have been running social groups and activities for the local LGBTQ+ community for years, and recently began providing a monthly drop-in space specifically for trans members. They have teamed up with The Clare Project from Brighton, who have been providing trans support services since 1990.

TNB Hastings will be open to all members of the TNBI and gender-variant community of adult age, where each session holds a theme relating to health and wellbeing. Topics may include mental health, relationships, employment, and many more. Alongside this, they will host additional socialising activities such as 50+ lunches, and swimming trips.

As a compliment to HRRA’s drop-in that occurs on the last Wednesday of every month, TNB will run on the second Wednesday, starting on September 11th. It is free to come along, and hosted at Mungo’s Café, White Rock, Hastings, from 7-9pm. PAs and carers welcome. No booking or RSVP required, refreshments provided.
