Overview
Please join us for Trans Day of Remembrance on Sunday 20th November at Jubilee Square and The Ledward Centre in central Brighton. The event will run from 12-4pm, and will start with community speakers in Jubilee Sq from 12 midday, before a performance from Rainbow Chorus, and light lunch in the neighbouring Ledward Centre.
The event will be live streamed to Zoom (sign up via info@clareproject.org.uk for the link), and there will also be a memorial video produced that will be displayed on loop at the centre. This memorial video will also be made available on YouTube for anyone wishing to watch another time.
This event has been co-organised by TNBI & LGBTQ organisations/charities. You do not need to book to attend.
There will be community volunteers and appropriate security provided on the day, and as previous years, we politely ask the Police not to visit the event.
General enquiries are being answered via The Clare Project/relevant organiser: info@clareproject.org.uk
Accessibility: Jubilee Sq and The Ledward Centre are wheelchair accessible, and equipped with a lift and wheelchair accessible toilet. There will be BSL interpretation provided on the day for the speakers and song performance. Any other access enquiries: info@clareproject.org.uk and we will get back to you ASAP. Volunteers will also be available on the day for enquiries/assistance as requested.
